Marshall: Anton Kopitski, age 67, formerly of Marshall, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Franklin on Monday, June 4, 2007. Funeral services will be held at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall on Friday, June 8, 2007, at 10 A.M. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00with a prayer service at 7:30 P.M. Anton Eugene Kopitski was born to Anton and Clara (Fier) Kopitski on June 25, 1939 in Lincoln County, Minnesota. On August 17, 1963 he was united in marriage to Rose at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. After his marriage, the couple lived around Marshall and he did building construction work. Anton passed away at the Golden Living Center on Monday, June 4, 2007. Hehad reached the age of 67 years, 11 months and 10 days. He is survived by his wife, Rose, of Fulda; children, Joey Kopitski ofBurnsville, Kevin (and Pam) Kopitski of Minneota, Sharon (and Steve) Myhre of Minneapolis, Dave (and Kim) Kopitski of Sioux Falls, SD, Lisa (and Ken) Blumberg of Hutchinson, and Mary (and Scott) Huebert of Windom; mother, Clara Kopitski of Marshall; siblings, Pat Dwire of Marshall, Irene (and Al) Pollman of Hutchinson, and Roseann (and Jim) Varpness on Marshall; 16 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Anton; brother, Franklin; sisters, Frances DeVos, Lori Bach, and JoAnn Kreman; and granddaughter, Starlean Kopitski. Anton enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching TV, and remodeling houses.
