Constance "Connie" Jean Mohr

Constance “Connie” Jean (Remund) Mohr, age 78, of North Oaks, formerly of Marshall, Minnesota, died at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 as a result of heart failure.
Connie was born on February 25, 1936 in Webster, South Dakota. Her parents were Reuben and Cora (Thompson) Remund. She received her associate’s degree in elementary education at Northern State in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
In 1956, she married Roger Mohr in Milbank, South Dakota. Their marriage was blessed with three children. The couple shared 58 years of marriage.
Connie’s life was centered on her faith and her family. She was an active member of the Marshall, MN community for the last 25 years and recently moved to Waverly Gardens in North Oaks to be closer to her family. She was the president of a women’s circle at the Christ United Presbyterian Church and she was a member of the PEO Sister’s National which provided financial assistance to non-traditional college students. Connie and husband Roger also attended senior college at SMSU. Connie is survived by loving husband, Roger of North Oaks, MN; sons, Blake Mohr (Kathy) of Lino Lakes, MN, and Jeff Mohr (John Schimm) of Costa Mesa, CA; grandchildren, Alyssa Mohr (Ben Sieber – to be married October 18th), Austin Mohr (Grace) and Abby Mohr. She is predeceased by parents, Cora and Reuben Remund; brother, Don Remund; and daughter, Kathy Mohr.
Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, at Christ United Presbyterian Church in Marshall, Minnesota. Visitation will be held at church, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Memorial contributions will be used for special needs of Christ United Presbyterian Church in Marshall.
