Marshall; David Dwire, age 45, of Marshall, died on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the McKenna Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Memorial service will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, May 21, 2010 at the First Lutheran Church in Marshall. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior the service. David Leonard Dwire was born to Marvin and Bonnie Dwire on December 26, 1964 in Marshall. He was baptized at the Russell Presbyterian Church and confirmed at the Albright United Methodist Church. He attended school in Lynd through eight grade and graduated from Marshall High School in 1984.He worked for BH Electronics for almost twenty years and was presently employed at Walmart in Marshall. David’s enjoyments in life were bowling, NASCAR (Jeff Gordon), Twins and Vikings fan, watching Dukes of Hazzard, walking for various charities, woodworking, and playing softball. David passed away at the Avera Mckennen Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. He had reached the age of 45 years, 4 months and 16 days. He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Bonnie Dwire of Marshall; two siblings, Shirley (and Brent) Hall of Wood Lake and Daniel (Patricia) Dwire of Minnetonka; his maternal grandmother, Gladys Dayland of Balaton; two nieces, Leah and Tonya; two nephews, Brent Jr. and Christian; a great niece, Hailey; and two great nephews, Crimson and Cayden. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Dayland; fraternal grandparents, Lloyd and Rosa Dwire; and uncle, Darwin. David will be remembered as a private person with a free spirit.
