In New Ulm she was on the Altar Guild at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. She especially liked raising African Violets which she sold to grocery stores in New Ulm. In Minneota she occasionally worked in L. R. Christianson’s Law Office and delivered Meals on Wheels.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; 3 brothers, Hiram, Donald, Harland; 3 sisters, Eunice, Dorothy and Lois; and a grandson, Rodney Leon.
