Marshall: Gordon Timm, age 86 of Marshall, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Celebration of Gordon’s Life will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday, February 15th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a 7:30 P.M. prayer service Friday at the church and continue at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Gordon Eldor was born on August 8, 1927 in Posen Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota to George and Alma (Fiene) Timm. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Posen Township. On December 14, 1947, Gordon was united in marriage to Ruth Timm. They farmed and Gordon worked as a service repairman for Sears in Marshall. The love of his life was spending time with his family and doing things for them. Gordon’s other enjoyments included golfing, fishing, hunting and serving others through fixing appliances. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth of Marshall; children, Charlotte (Bob) Bode of Wood Lake, Cindy (Rollie) Rokeh of Balaton, Nancy (Jed) Fritzemeier of Chelsea, MI and Melissa (John) Linn of Eau Claire, WI; son-in-law, Mike Polman of Foristell, MO; grandchildren, Mark (Samantha) Bode, Michelle Bode, Brian Bode, Ben (Jessie) Polman, Jeremy (Erin) Polman, Robin (Ryan) Riley, Heidi (Jim) Schmidt; Holly (Michael) Price, Wesley Fritzemeier, Ella Fritzemeier, Joshua Linn and Matthew Linn; great grandchildren, Chris Bode, Nathan Cerenzia, Cassie Bode, Taylor Russ, Elijah Russ, Vivianna Russ, Evan Polman, Grant Polman, Isaac Polman, Eden Polman, Henry Polman, Brecken Riley, Bridger Riley, Grace Schmidt, Peyton Price and Mason Price; siblings, Marion Naab of Wood Lake and Donna (Marvin) Helgeson of Albert Lea; also many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pat Polman; brothers, LeRoy and Edgar; and sisters, Bernice Bode and Delores Carey. Gordon was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at the time of his death. Blessed be the Memory of Gordon Timm.
