Marshall: Greg M. Seehusen, age 32, of Marshall and Garvin, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Wesley United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Slayton. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Greg Michael Seehusen was born to Nancy Nielsen on August 14, 1977 in Marshall. He graduated from the Tracy High School in 1995 and went on to attend the Granite Falls Vo-Tech School where he studied Tool and Machine. He owned and operated his own trucking business from 2000 to 2004. At the present time he worked for Fagen, INC out of Granite Falls as a Heavy Equipment Transportation Specialist.
On May 7, 2005, he was united in marriage to Beverly Karl-Goergen in Marshall.
Greg passed away suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. He had reached the age of 32 years, 10 months and 2 days.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, of Marshall; mother, Nancy Nielsen, of Ghent; Beverly’s three children, Josh and Jessica Goergen, both of Marshall and Jenna Goergen of Pipestone; two grandchildren, Ashton and Raya Goergen, of Marshall; two brothers, Todd of Ghent and Wayne of Tracy; and maternal and paternal grandparents, Floyd and Theo Nielsen and Dean and Norma Seehusen, all of Pocahontas, IA.
Greg’s enjoyment’s in life included being with his family and close friends on four-wheeler trips, riding four-wheelers with his grandson, Ashton, having his granddaughter, Raya, on the farm with him, and working on older vehicles, especially Ford pickups.
Greg above all loved his wife fiercely in life and will continue to do so for all eternity.
