Rosita Gina Miller

Marshall: Rosita Miller, age 69, of Napels, Florida since 2001, formerly of Marshall passed away at the Prairie Home Hospice House on Friday, January 8, 2010 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will be held at the Hamilton Funeral Home Sunday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. and will continue one hour prior to the service, on Monday. A reception will follow the funeral on Monday from 5 to 8 P.M at the Marshall County Club. Burial will be Tuesday morning at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.
Rostia Gina Leddin was born in Stettin, Germany, on December 6, 1940 to parents, Erich and Else (Buttner) Leddin. In 1951, the family immigrated to the United States where they resided in Tacoma, WA. In July 1971, Rosita moved to Minnesota with her two daughters.
Rosita took an enthusiastic approach to living life to the fullest. She was an avid golfer, playing in many tournaments. She always enjoyed a good game of cards and traveling, especially with her husband, Don. Rosita loved sharing a good laugh and cherished time spent with her family and friends.
Rosita will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 30 years, Donald Miller of Naples, FL; children, Tammie (Todd) Lanners of Alexandria, MN, and Christina (Leonardo Garcia) Leddin of Fort Myers, FL; step-children, Todd Miller of Marshall, MN, Tamara (Dan) Magaard of St Cloud, MN, and Keith (Cheryl) Miller of Marshall, MN; twelve grandchildren, Derick Lanners, Danielle Magaard, Ashley Magaard, Bria Lanners, Kendra Magaard, Taylor Miller, Billie Miller, Alex Garcia, Lydia Magaard, Logan Miller, Nalani Garcia, and Elli Magaard; and sisters, Lucia (Herb) Nash and Wiltrud (Chauncey Turney) Fairbanks.
She was preceded in death by her father, Erich Leddin, mother, Else Leddin, and step-daughter, Debra Miller.
