Donald Joseph Urbanski was born August 21, 1963, to Michael and Sharon (Udlinek) Urbanski in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was baptized, had his first communion, and was confirmed at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Minneapolis, where he attended school. He eventually achieved his GED.
In 2017, Donald moved to Minneota to be closer to family. He proved he was a jack of all trades by using his wide variety of knowledge on odd jobs around the local area. Donald was well liked and respected. His family ties grew stronger and the time was cherished with the man they loved so much. When Donald wasn’t putting his knowledge to use, he enjoyed listening to music, reading, and especially writing.
He is survived by his two daughters, Caitlyn, Katie; father and stepmother, Michael (and Doris) Urbanski of Minneota; one granddaughter; 4 siblings, Michelle (and Hugh) Fowler of London, England, Michael Urbanski II (and Rhonda Gould) of Elk River, Christine Hailey (and Jill) of Jamestown, TN, Mary (and Carlo) Franco of Le Sueur; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Urbanski, who passed away in 2020.
