Jeremy Aguirre, age 48, of Marshall, Minnesota, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at his home. A Private Funeral Service will be held soon at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. Public Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall, Minnesota. A Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will continue at his farm (1629 120th Street, Verdi, Minnesota 56164) beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Jeremy Fredrick Aguirre was born on December 30, 1974, to Jesse Sr. and Jeanette (Kaeble) Aguirre in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was raised in Marshall, Minnesota, and attended Holy Redeemer Catholic School and later the Marshall High School.

Jeremy met Ms. Jodi Thompson and the couple welcomed a baby girl, Kayla.  Later he spent 14 years with Ann Petersen and that relationship added another daughter, Faith, into his life.  Jeremy worked as a residential painter and later as a wind towers demolisher. His two beautiful daughters have always been the center of Jeremy's world - In 2012, he moved from Marshall to his farmhouse located on the Lake Benton and Verdi border.

Jeremy was known to live life to the fullest and he valued real relationships. His enjoyments in life included playing hockey, fishing, bow hunting, snowmobiling, attending concerts, and appreciating the mechanical expertise of his GTO and Harley-Davidson. 

Jeremy Fredrick Aguirre died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at his home in Verdi, Minnesota. He had reached the age of 48 years, 5 months, and 4 days. He will live on the hearts of those who loved him.

He is survived by his daughters, Kayla Thompson of Marshall, Faith Aguirre of Pipestone; his "rider," Ann Petersen of Pipestone; father, Jesse Aguirre Sr. of Collinsville, OK; 3 grandchildren, Ryker Kronback, Paisley Randle, Kinsley Thompson; sister, Jennifer (and Ken) Sobaski of Birmingham, AL; brother, Jesse Aguirre Jr. of Larchwood, IA; step-dad, Curt Porter of Cottonwood; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Porter, and maternal grandmother, Audrey Kaeble, paternal grandfather, Enrique Aguirre; among others.
