Judith Roberts, age 81, of Marshall, Minnesota, died under the care of hospice and with family at her side on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at her home. A private family memorial gathering will be held at a later date – please leave the family a memory or condolence in the digital guestbook.

Judith Kay Jorgensen was born on January 2, 1945, in Lynd, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Harold and Myrtle (Stelter) Jorgensen. Judy grew up in Lynd where she graduated from high school with the class of 1963. She enjoyed roller skating and at a local rink she met Mr. Tyrone Roberts.

Judy and Ty were united in marriage on October 26, 1963, in Marshall, Minnesota. They made their home in Marshall and raised 3 children: John, Alice, and Todd. Judy ran a daycare for many years out of her home before working for the Schott's Corporation. Prior to retirement, the last decade of her career was spent in the titling department at US Bank. Judy continued to run the books for her brother's company as they distributed Thomas Kincaid paintings in the area.

Judy enjoyments in life included crocheting, challenging herself with word puzzles, and spending time with family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.

Judy Roberts died peacefully on July 19, 2026, at her home in Marshall, Minnesota, surrounded by her loving family husband, son and his children. She reached the age of 81 years, 6 months, and 17 days. Blessed be her memory.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ty Roberts of Marshall, children, John (and Julie) Roberts of Worthington, Alice (and Paul) Rolling of Tracy, Todd Roberts, of Marshall; 8 grandchildren, Haley (and Skyler) Carpenter, Will (and Heather) Rolling, EmmaLee Rolling, Cassie Hancock (and Vito Fenger), AnDrew Roberts (and Joclyn LaBatte), Ashtyn Roberts, Kaydi Roberts, Beau Jones-Roberts; 11 great-grandchildren, Toby, Kaylei, Chase, Xzayvior, Octayveiah, Jay, Atlas, and one on the way, Paisley, Saywer, Braxton, Bralynn; 4 siblings, Barb Albertson, Ardell Faye, Bea (Tim) Hought, Jerry Jorgensen and special friend Patti, Ronnie (Kim) Ramert; dear friend, Judy Scholten; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Jorgensen and Myrtle Schulte; brothers, Raymond Jorgensen, Gary Ramert, brother-in-law, Allen Albertson; Robert Faye and friend, Daryl Scholten.
