Laremy DePyper, age 37, of Champlin, Minnesota, formerly of Lynd, Minnesota, died on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at his residence in Champlin. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021, at the Community Center in Lynd, Minnesota. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. Lucas Lutheran Cemetery in Cottonwood, Minnesota.

Laremy Jay DePyper was born on December 1, 1983, in Marshall, Minnesota. He was the son of Larry and Donna (Olson) DePyper. He was raised Lynd, Minnesota. Laremy was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Marshall. He attended the Lynd School District until the 8th grade. Laremy then attended Marshall High School and graduated with the class of 2002. After graduating, Laremy moved up to Fargo, North Dakota and attended North Dakota State University for a couple of years.

Laremy found out early on that he preferred physical labor over schoolwork. He started working in the construction field shortly after college. Laremy was a very caring individual with a huge heart. He would often put others needs above his own. Family was the most important part of his life, especially his children, Cayden and Asher. He loved to spend time with them by bringing them fishing. Laremy also enjoyed going to car shows with his dad, Larry.

Laremy died on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at his residence. He reached the age of 37 years, 10 months, and 2 days. Blessed be his memory.

Laremy is survived by his two children, Cayden DePyper of Granite Falls, Asher DePyper of Granite Falls; mother of his children, Sherry Hastings-Conroy of Granite Falls; parents, Larry and Donna (Olson) of Tracy; 3 siblings, Brandon (Heather) DePyper of Independence, IA, Blake DePyper of Tracy, Larissa (Wayne) Halling of Bemidji; numerous aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Laremy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hector and Marjorie DePyper; maternal grandparents, Walter and Leona Olson, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
