Nancy Diane Pagel, age 66, of Vesta, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in Marshall. Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Grace Life Church in Marshall. Interment will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, December 26, 2016, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. A prayer service is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, at Grace Life Church in Marshall.

Nancy Diane Allen was born March 28, 1950, in Clarkfield, Minnesota, to Frank and Shirley (Halstead) Allen. She attended school in Clarkfield and Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School in 1968.
Nancy was united in marriage to Richard Pagel on June 30, 1973 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Marshall. The couple made their home near Vesta. She worked in the bakery departments at both Hy-Vee and County Market grocery stores. She was also active helping in the church kitchen and in church groups, often serving others by driving friends to meetings and other events. Nancy was a past board member for AGLOW International, a women’s Christian organization.
Nancy’s enjoyments in life included gardening, cooking, scrap-booking, talking on the phone and watching her favorite TV programs. She was blessed to be part of a mission trip to Haiti and was proud of her service to the Lord.
Nancy Pagel passed away in Marshall, Minnesota, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at the age of 66 years, 8 months, and 22 days. Blessed be her memory.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard Pagel of Vesta; children, Rebekah (and Hugh) Simon of Mountain Lake, Nicole Pagel (and fiance’ Ben Jahn) of Vesta; 3 grandchildren, Martina Simon, Faith Simon, and Naomi Simon; brothers, Phillip (and Kim) Allen of Marshall, Steve (and Darlene) Allen of Marshall; sister-in-law, Lillian Allen of Marshall; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Shirley Allen, and brother, David Allen.
