Todd Larson, age 61, of Marshall, Minnesota, died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at his mother's home as she cared for him during his cancer battle. Todd Lee Larson was born on August 16, 1962, in Marshall, Minnesota. He was the son of David and Bonnie (Dobrenski) Larson. He grew up in Marshall and was baptized at First Lutheran Church as an infant. Todd attended Marshall schools before spending a couple years of his youth in Montana. Following high school, Todd went to Alaska to work before returning to Minnesota where he lived in Balaton, Russell, and then Marshall.
Todd worked as a carpenter in construction for many years. He was skilled in his trade and was proud of the the work he was able to create. Todd also restored classic cars on the side and most recently had been working for Turkey Valley Farms in Marshall.
Todd's enjoyments in life included spending time in the great outdoors. He loved riding horses, hunting, fishing, and making beef jerky for family and friends. Todd loved country music, watching old westerns, and spending time with his beloved boxer, Sadie.
Todd Larson died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in Marshall, Minnesota. He had reached the age of 61 years, 3 months, and 21 days. Blessed be his memory.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Larson of Marshall; brother, Randy (and Sue Larson) of North Pole, Alaska; sisters, Terri Miller of Marshall, Sue Larson of Marshall; many nieces and nephews; and several other kids and grandkids that he considered his own.
Todd was welcomed home by his dad, David Larson; grandparents, Roy & Lucille Larson, and Agnes & Lyle Wiegers.
